1. Who may use the Platform
MediReporting is a field-force reporting system for authorised company administrators, managers, and field employees. It is not a public consumer service.
Access is limited to users created by an organisation administrator. You must be an adult employee or authorised contractor of that organisation. You may use the Platform only for authorised company work.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Signing out of shared or unattended devices
- Telling an administrator at once if you suspect unauthorised access
Do not share your password, use another person’s account, or try to bypass role-based permissions. We may suspend or disable an account if we believe these Terms have been broken or if security is at risk.
3. Licence to use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Platform for your organisation’s internal field-reporting and administration purposes, in line with your assigned role.
You may not:
- Copy, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where the law allows
- Remove notices, branding, or proprietary marks
- Use automated scrapers or bots except as we expressly allow
4. Your organisation’s role
Your employer or organisation decides who can use the Platform, what data is entered, and which reports, exports, and approvals are allowed. Most records (employees, doctors, visits, leave, expenses) are controlled by the organisation.
You must follow your organisation’s employment, expense, leave, and field-force policies in addition to these Terms.
5. Accurate information
You agree to enter true, complete, and current information, including:
- Employee and doctor records
- Day plans, visits, attendance, and missed-doctor reports
- Leave requests and expense claims
- Images, receipts, and other attachments
False, incomplete, or misleading entries may lead to account action by us and disciplinary or legal action by your organisation.
6. Location, camera, and device permissions
Some features need device permissions, such as:
- Location services for visit and attendance verification
- Camera or files for item images and expense receipts
- Network access for sync and upload
If your organisation enables these features, you consent to that capture for operational reporting, compliance, and management review. Location data is not used to build public maps or consumer advertising profiles.
If you refuse a required permission, related features may not work.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Platform for anything other than authorised company work
- Upload unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or unrelated personal files
- Interfere with the Platform, other users, or our systems
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Access data you are not authorised to see
- Export or download data except where your role permits it, and you must store exported files securely
- Treat doctor, employee, or other confidential information as public
Treat all doctor, employee, and patient-adjacent information as confidential.
8. Confidentiality and intellectual property
The Platform, including software, design, databases, reports, and documentation, is owned by MediReporting or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Information you or your organisation enter remains subject to the organisation’s rights and applicable law. You must not disclose that information outside authorised company use.
9. Privacy
How we collect, use, store, and share personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you also acknowledge that policy.
10. Service availability
We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, including web access, mobile sync, and reporting. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may:
- Perform maintenance
- Update features or the app
- Suspend access for security, legal, or operational reasons
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by your device, network, internet provider, or events outside our reasonable control.
11. Third-party services
The Platform may rely on hosting, email delivery, maps, or other vendors. Their terms may apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services we do not control.
12. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” for business reporting use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Reports, maps, attendance, and visit data depend on information entered by users and on device or network conditions. We do not warrant that every record is complete or that the Platform will meet every operational requirement of your organisation.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MediReporting and its officers, employees, and suppliers are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or replacement costs
- Decisions made by your organisation based on Platform reports
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Platform is limited to the fees paid to us for the Platform in the three (3) months before the claim, or INR 10,000, whichever is greater, unless the law says otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such a limit is not allowed.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MediReporting from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:
- Your misuse of the Platform
- Your breach of these Terms
- Content you upload
- Your violation of law or of another person’s rights
Your organisation may have additional contractual terms with us that govern commercial use.
15. Suspension and termination
We or your organisation may suspend or end your access at any time if:
- You leave the organisation
- Your role changes
- You break these Terms
- We are required to do so by law or for security
On termination, your right to use the Platform stops. We may retain or delete data as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by law or by the organisation’s agreement with us.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, except where the law requires additional notice or consent.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer or employment protections, courts in India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform.
18. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or transfer of the Platform.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any organisation agreement with us, are the full agreement for your use of the Platform.
